Assalamualikum. We will start by imagining a situation. Imagine that you need assistance in some aspect. It can be interms of medical assistance or financial or any other assistance which you need help for.
You have been given a choice. To choose the best in the profession or some random person from the same field. Who would you choose? I believe you will definitely choose the best one.
If you need a medical help, you will choose the best doctor in the field. If you need a wedding planner, you would choose the best one. If you need a faculty to teach, you would pick the best ones. So on and so forth. We come to a point, you will choose the best one. “THE PERSON”
For something like this, you seek to rely on the best people with complete blind faith and trust. Ask yourself. How much should you be relying upon ALLAH- THE MOST PERFECT.
Now I understand many say yes we do rely on ALLAH alone. Subhanallah ❤️ . But relying upon Allah truly with complete faith and blind trust is known during difficulties. When we are tested by Allah a little bit, we say- Ya ALLAH why me? Do you realise that your questioning the MOST PERFECT ENTITY. THE ONE WHO MADE US. THE ONE WHO LOVES US 70X THAN OUR MOTHERS.
ALLAH won’t test anyone of you more than their capacity and their level of faith. It’s mentioned in the Qur’an and Hadith. When ALLAH knows your capacity, shouldn’t we trust him blindly in our highs and lows.
Another aspect which I have realised that relying upon ALLAH emotionally is also important. Sometimes we don’t get the opportunity to learn to process our emotions well and correct due to which we harm ourselves mentally. Even I learnt this very hard way.
Direct both your happy and difficult emotions to ALLAH first. If he can put you in a situation, he can also get you through it. I have seen many people completely rely their emotions on people. People are imperfect. And that’s where the problem arises.
There is no harm in hoping from people, expecting something from them. Harm is when you start believing that they won’t hurt you. They won’t do a mistake. How can they not? They are all humans. Humans aren’t perfect. Having hopes is no problem but having hopes to a point that you expect perfection from them is a problem. Sometimes the person you hope with, acts in a way that is not wrong but it might not be approved by you. For example- If your friend had to cancel a plan due to some work. You cannot get mad and sad because they failed you on this.
Hope from a human but not to a point that if they turn you down (they can be wrong here as well, it doesn’t always have to be you) it should not shatter and shut your system down. Stay connected to a human but remain attached to ALLAH alone. I know many of you won’t agree to this let me explain you further.
Connecting is like a phone signal. Even if the phone signal isn’t that strong still you will be able to access your phone and call your friends & family. There will be days where there is a strong connection and a weak connection between two people. But that doesn’t shut you up or the other person completely. Whereas, Attachment is like the battery of your phone. If battery doesn’t work no matter how good is your phone it won’t work at all.
Therefore, if you attach your heart to any imperfect being it will hurt you and rip you off from within. Whereas, if you attach your heart and soul to ALLAH- THE MOST PERFECT, neither will he let you down nor will he leave you alone. With him, nothing is lost and with him even the lost is found. Also, when you rely upon ALLAH emotionally, no matter who does what, who say what, ALLAH will protect your heart in a way that it won’t bother you much
ALLAH has created hearts. If you are looking to seek love and hope from anyone. Make dua to ALLAH first. Speak to him. Tell ALLAH that- Ya ALLAH! Don’t let my heart break because of imperfect people. Save me from those who potrays to be good infront of me and has evil intentions behind me. O ALLAH, instill love, respect affection and love towards me in the hearts of my family and friends and wherever I go.
Rely upon the most perfect- ALLAH and even the imperfect human hearts will be diverted towards you with all goodness in shaa ALLAH
